[35] Pesteng Kabisote,

Pesteng Kabisote

This overrated film is too much for a Metro Manila Film Festival entry. I mean, it's like a reincarnation of Xmen3: The Last Stand, wherein every one in the heavy cast makes their own moment of satisfaction to the audience and to each played character that it became like a fruit shake: constituents of carrots, ampalaya and cookies-and-cream [yum!].

Enteng Kabisote (Vic Sotto), a selfless human by nature morphs to a self-centered businessminded idiot who takes no concerns on anyone or anything except the root of all evil [and commodity]--MONEY. Assisting his monkey business is the all-time favorite, Jose (Jose MAnalo)These extreme measures hit him out of his own house and by conflicts with wife Faye (Kristine Hermosa).

Meanwhile, Satana (Bing Loyzaga) adopts Zarkoy (Antonio Aquitania), a hideous alien slash lizard, and uses his shape-shifting ability in tresspassing the corners of Enteng's family and the powers of Ina Magenta, the man's woman-Hitler/mother-in-law (G Tongi) who has just transformed, thanks to magical cosmetics, into Allan K dragging her confidence down.

Of course, with helps form Shintaro (Joey de Leon) and Nador (Tito Sotto), Enteng saves the day. Nahh. The movie was not cool. It was for kids. It was corny. The previous one was pure goodness; not to mention, this movie has got all my neurotic and zenitih expectations.

No offense to the mall where I have watched this, but I felt sinking during the 90 minutes screening. The noise was grating. God, I was in a perya. The kids. The babies. The posers aka feelers. What more has the world got to offer?!
