DJ Day
I'll just post pics of me, Sandy and Kuya Reuben. It happened last Thursday.
I'm too lazy to type. All I know is that I was with Sandy the whole day
from DZUP station to the skywalk exploiting the school's wi-fi with our laptops.

Tales of the Summer-loving Sucker

People would sometimes raise a brow when I'd tell them how much I love a bright glorious sunny day. I have the potential of a biological solar energy absorpent, wherein I am categorically 'meteoric': high-spirited when the sun is blazing hot, and dull when clouds or rainshowers hover. The sun is virtually my daily vitamins. Hence, I await for summer.

Summer in the Philippines is spelled H-E-L-L! I could mistake anyone for Lucifer (and metaphorically, it's truthful when I'm in the metro). But still I liked it. What's the problem when the sky is stunningly blue, huh? When the laundried clothes dry off in hours? When every barkada outing, lakad, date or just tambay is easily set up to the last minute when you wanted to? When you start to shelf and stock up your books, notebooks or anything that construct academic value? It's LIFE. Purposive to that, the most common notion of summer is vacation. I actually sleep more than 8 hours a day to saitisfy my ultimate goal back when I tire myself studying till both the long snd short hands of the clock strike at 12, thus the sprouts of eyebags. I do whatever I want.

I remember in my COQC aspirancy, specifically in our 'summer training', we looked more or less like branched-out twigs. I did rolling before we could eat have our lunches. I did push-ups 1 PM in the afternoon, offering our palms to the almost-flaming outdoor basketball court. I was 'punished' in feared military manners, bruning the skin of my respective nose and adjusting my pigment to the exact opposite.

This summer, I have in my calendar list debut parties of highschool friends (read: Juni, Christine), reunions, barkada trips, CWTS (Civil Welfare Training Service) in UP with blockmates and orgmates, slumbers, sleepovers, and of course lotsa scoops of ice creams and tumblers of halo-halo's.

Here's what you can do this summer: for college students like me, who shall have classes...

food trips. slumber. sleepovers. lakads. no summer trainings as in swimming lessons and stuff. meditate. yoga, anyone? take pics.

My freshmen school year has some to a blissful end. Special thanks to Block K-6 06-07 and UP Mass Communicators' Organization for making my first year in college a blast.

The EQ-Rean: entertainment quiz show on Korean pop culture was successful!

My shoot with Ate Eka's film of virtually was nerve-wrecking! I'll post pics soon!
